Dear Franchisees,

We are pleased to introduce Jessica Beltran, jessicabeltran@teapiocalounge.com, a dedicated employee who has been with the Teapioca Lounge family for over six years. Her journey at this company began as a part-time employee while she was attending University. After graduating, she realized how much she enjoyed being part of Teapioca Lounge and decided to join full-time.

A few months later, she got promoted to assistant manager at the Scofield Farms location in Austin, Texas. Over the years, she had the pleasure of training employees, and even some franchise owners. Currently, she’s working with Teapioca International where she will keep on contributing to our brand’s growth and success.

We are confident that her experience and dedication will be a valuable asset to our company.

Dear Franchisees,

We are starting a new initiative called “Small Sips” to test the 12 oz size exclusively at select participating test locations. This test is limited to a couple of Teapioca Lounge stores and is not being implemented elsewhere at this time. This is an exciting opportunity to gather valuable feedback and insights on this new size offering.

We believe this trial will help us better understand customer preferences and optimize our product offerings. Based on the results of the testing we will decide whether or not to officially add the 12 oz size drinks to the menu full time for all locations.

If a customer at a non-participating location inquires about the 12 oz drink, please inform them that their location will not be offering them yet. In the near future, your location might become available once the testing phase is completed.

Dear Franchisees,

Today, July 1, 2024, marks the official deployment date of our Teapioca Finance Portal. You can read more about the Portal release in the Teapioca Knowledge Base: Teapioca Finance Portal.

The Teapioca Finance Portal is a layer on top of POS data that provides insights into sales performance and trends. You can use the royalty information from the Portal for the weekly ACH submission. This royalty information has already been compiled and includes net sales, loyalty, and chargeable discounts, which are required for the weekly ACH form.

Our Finance Department has already created and shared the credentials with you last week. Please use these credentials to access the Teapioca Finance Portal.

The following updates will be coming to your POS on July 1, 2024, at the start of the business day.

Phase-out Products:
We will be removing the following Items:
– Pear Slushie
– Pear Smoothie
– Turmeric Sun Cream Blast
– Turmeric Sun Smoothie
– Fresh-Carrot Juice
– Fresh-Carrot Orange Juice
– Durian Snowyn

We will be removing the following Modifiers:
– Pear Flavor
– Yogurt Bursters

Serving Size Reposition: The serving size will be repositioned on the printed labels on the left side of the menu item to be read before the menu item.

Modifier Group Updates: There will be a flow change to how we build our Modifier Groups.

This is mostly a back-office change, and will not impact the front-end view.
