Information Technology | July 1, 2024, POS Menu Update

Dear Franchisees,

The following updates will be coming to your POS on July 1, 2024, at the start of the business day.

Phase-out Products:
We will be removing the following Items:
– Pear Slushie
– Pear Smoothie
– Turmeric Sun Cream Blast
– Turmeric Sun Smoothie
– Fresh-Carrot Juice
– Fresh-Carrot Orange Juice
– Durian Snowyn

We will be removing the following Modifiers:
– Pear Flavor
– Yogurt Bursters

Serving Size Reposition: The serving size will be repositioned on the printed labels on the left side of the menu item to be read before the menu item.

Modifier Group Updates: There will be a flow change to how we build our Modifier Groups.

This is mostly a back-office change, and will not impact the front-end view.

Administration | TPI Out of Office July 4th and 5th

Dear Teapioca Family,

Finance | Launch of the New Finance Portal

Information Technology | IT Announcement: Network Equipment Firmware Update Notice

Dear Franchisees,

On June 26th, 2024, at 1 am US Central Time, our IT Support Team will perform a firmware update for our Teapioca routers and switches at all locations. This firmware update is part of our regular maintenance routine and includes patches and fixes for network issues.

During the update, the POS (Point of Sale) system will be disconnected for a short period. However, the POS should reconnect and operate normally afterward. All of this will occur outside of business hours, so there should not be any impact on store operations. If you experience any POS or networking issues during business hours after the update, please contact our IT support at support.it@teapiocalounge.com.

Dear Franchisees,

As we continuously strive to optimize our menu, inventory, and enhance the customer experience, we’re announcing more reductions for our product offering. This decision allows us to focus our resources on higher-performing items and streamline inventory management.

We don’t have a specific full-stop end date for these products just yet, but we’ll continuously monitor inventory levels and communicate the final removal date in due time. Our vendor may potentially offer future discounts on some of these products, so continue to check back on the TeaVerse website.
