Information Technology | IMPORTANT : New Digital Signage Solution for Dining and Lobby TVs

Teapioca Intl, in partnership with CFX IT Solutions, is introducing a new digital signage solution to simplify and automate content updates for dining and lobby TVs. Each store’s device links to a Google Drive folder, allowing owners to directly manage display content by adding or removing images and videos. The solution includes a Smart Switch for automatic on/off functions, providing fully automated operation with minimal manual adjustments. Franchisees can obtain the device for a one-time cost of $250, with monthly fees waived. To order, please email support.it@teapiocalounge.com.

Operations | IMPORTANT :Let us know your thoughts on the new 12 oz product offering!

Dear Franchisees,

In response to customer demand and feedback from Franchisees, we explored introducing a smaller drink size. After research and testing, we decided against offering a standard 12 oz size. Instead, we’re developing a limited pre-selected menu for these smaller drinks.

This approach streamlines operations and simplifies training by limiting customer choice to specific drinks in the Small Size category. We plan to launch this option soon, treating it as a test product. Its permanence will depend on results and feedback from the trial.

Information Technology | MUST-READ : POS Pricing Updates and Rollout Schedule

The upcoming POS pricing updates will be rolled out in phases across regions starting with the Austin Region on November 1, followed by the US-Central Region on November 5, and remaining sites on November 6. We ask all franchisees to review the schedule carefully to ensure they are aware of the specific update date for their stores.

Franchisees are also required to read the Knowledge Base Article for full details on these updates and procedures. An updated Handheld menu reflecting the new pricing is currently under printing, with a target distribution date by next Friday. This phased approach ensures all stores are prepared, with IT support available throughout the transition.

Dear Franchisees,

The 2024 Teapioca Holiday Cup is now available at TeaVerse! You can begin ordering and using the holiday cup starting November 4th to bring some festive cheer to your customers.

Please note that the last day to use the holiday cup is February 28, 2025. Be sure to place your orders and manage your inventory accordingly to meet customer demand and adhere to this end date for effective use of the holiday cup.

Operations | MUST-READ :Removal of Blast Juice, Handcraft Soda, and Perrier Soda from Upcoming Menu Change

Dear Franchisees,

As we prepare for the new menu update coming to your stores next month, we wanted to provide an early notice about some of the newly announced items that will be removed.

Blast Juice, Handcrafted Soda, and Perrier Soda Water will no longer be offered. While Blast Juice should have minimal impact on your inventory, we recommend that you start managing your Perrier Soda Water stock to sell through existing inventory before it’s officially removed from the menu.

Marketing | IMPORTANT :New Monthly Process for Promoting Laggards Items

Dear Franchisees,

We are excited to introduce a monthly process to boost the visibility and sales of Laggards items—slow-selling products identified through sales analysis. This initiative will drive revenue growth and improve inventory management.

For each Laggard item, we’ll implement a triple loyalty points promotion, with points based on: Highest Tier Pricing x 3, rounded up to the next 5. This promotion applies to 22oz sizes only. We’ll provide social media materials, and promote these items via CDS, digital menus, Dining TV, newsletters, and staff engagement.

Operations | IMPORTANT :Enhancements for the 2024 Pumpkin Spice Drinks

Dear Franchisees,

We have announced the launch of our new Pumpkin Spice drink recipes, featuring Thai Blas Tea, Coconut Smoothie, Caramel House Coffee, and Vanilla Cream Matcha Tea. They are on the digital 4-TV menu since September 14th.

To help promote these delicious additions, a 22” x 28” floor stand poster will be sent to you, expected to arrive before October 11th. Please display it as soon as it arrives.

Additionally, due to customer demand, we are reintroducing some of last year’s popular Pumpkin Spice drinks. The IT team will reinstate the order buttons in the POS system, and you can access the 2023 recipes on OneHub using this link: https://ws.onehub.com/files/8fevqes7

Administration | MUST-READ :Price Adjustments Effective November 2024 and Handheld Menu Update

Hi, Franchisees,

Starting November 2024, we will implement price adjustments due to rising raw material costs. Flavor additions will increase to $0.75, exotic items by 15%, Coffee and Frappioca by 10%, and Fresh Fruit Tea and Coconut Water Blast Juice by 15%. Condensed Milk Sweetener will increase to $0.75, and “COLD NO ICE” will incur a $1.00 charge, with $2.00 for Juice. Our Marketing team is finalizing version 5.0.0 of the Handheld menu, which will be rolled out in sync with these changes.
